Drought…Groundhog Day?

Let me preface this with, the topic being about drought in the Southwest….well, most of it is desert or near desert, so this isn’t exactly breaking news. However, even deserts are not rain-free. But it has a downwind effect for the Plains too, so that deserts can grow when even their weather gets drier. Which is not a good thing for us here in the USA.

Also, another caveat…I am NOT a fan of folks who try to explain WHY things happen, because many things are far more complex than explained, and I feel many PRETEND to know more than they really do…to come off as experts in things that there simply are no experts on. (Some things are still well beyond our understanding, so to come off as though you know, is simply disingenuous.)
