Record warmth today, maybe Thursday too…

I turned out that it wasn’t close…we shattered the old record of 60, with a high of 65F today. And even though my forecast went above any other weather outlet, INCLUDING the national Weather Service and the computer models as well, my forecast of “58…maybe 60” still turned out too low! Not that anyone was complaining! Fair and mild tonight, low near 40. Maybe a little sun early Thursday, but a cold front is going to put a temporary end to this Spring Fling, with rainshowers in the afternoon and early evening. The record high tomorrow stands at 58F, and that’s my forecast, so we’ll be right there. Colder weather for Friday (near 40F) and colder still Saturday (37F), but the warmup returns Sunday through next week. In fact, frankly, as far as I’m concerned, Winter is over. I see no WAY for a plunge of arctic air to even occur now…and the higher the sun gets and the longer the daylight gets, the more difficult it becomes, so Spring is indeed here.
