Stubborn clouds

A storm long since departed and moving through Newfoundland has so much cloudiness wrapped around it, the clouds wont dissipate until 2 days after the storm has left us. If there were some significant wind, even that would help break them up, but the only real wind is coming off Lake Ontario into Lewis County, bringing a little bit of snow shower activity, so that can’t help. I think the clouds will finally break up Wednesday late morning…and there may be a couple flakes in these clouds, till then. Temps tonight should bottom out in the mid 20s, climb to the mid 30s tomorrow, and upper 30s to 40 Thursday and early Friday. That is our next “storm”, though it wont be much. Clouds will reappear Thursday afternoon and eve, and either light snow or rain should develop overnight. Either way, it looks like it will end as light snow Friday morning, thanks to winds off the Lake. It’s the week of weak storms though, as flurries may return Saturday, with a little more Lake Effect Sunday.
