Quiet and cold tonight

A cold quiet night ahead, with greatly diminished wind. A bubble o’ high pressure is moving just to our north overnight, protecting the area and meaning light winds and cold temps with it. It moves too far away by tomorrow afternoon, that a very weak system increases clouds after a bright start to Thursday, so by Afternoon, at least a “milky” overcast will happen, and lower later in the day, and begin depositing flurries towards evening. No accumulation is to be expected, and it will end overnight. Friday, another little buddle of high pressure will move across, so clear and cold weather is to be expected. We’re defeinitely in a quick-changing pattern now, but one that is conducive to cold and snow, versus rain of previous months. So, Winter this time around will be like this for probably another 1.5 months, with an early Spring to follow.
