Everything right on track, now comes the “frigid-aire”

Mother Nature is, I’m happy to say, cooperating, both by bringing the snow we want and by not aggrivating the Meteorologist with any curve balls….everything is right on track. The storm is rapidly winding down, in terms of snow, and after 8pm, we’ll just have flurries through Saturday morning. Skies should clear up through the afternoon, making for a clear and frigid Saturday night. Winds will be busy tonight, making for blowing snow, which results in briefly reduced visibilities and very low wind chills tonight through Saturday night. Expect lows tonight near 15F, and that will be the high early tomorrow…15F and slowly falling through the day, to eventual lows at night of minus 5 (-5F). Sunday will be equally as cold, but minus the wind, high only near 15F. Not QUITE as cold Sunday night (+5F), and Monday will feature gradually increasing clouds and temperatures, topping out near 33F. The next chance for snow/rain will be Monday night, with snow showers into Tuesday, which for a time, may become light rain, only to go back to snow Tuesday night, which may further accumulate. The pattern is definitely changing, towards a colder and snowier pattern, for awhile ahead. It’s the change I/we’ve been waiting for, when I predicted back in October a late start to Winter, a furious middle, then an early Spring. Here comes the furious middle.
