Temps stay mild through Thursday, no big storms in sight.

Ok, the easiest thing first. No big storms (rain or snow) in sight. Also, temps stay unseasonably mild through most of Thursday.

The general pattern is one that I spoke of on air a couple weeks ago about the Winter forecast, with the jet stream coming out of the Rockies, and then doing a hook left up into the Great Lakes, which leaves us on the mild side of normal most of the time.

Now, the latest front moving is much more north than east (ie not really towards us) will just graze us with clouds through Wednesday evening. There will be a second storm trailing the first, which may get close enough to set off a few light showers both early and late Thursday. It will bring our temperatures back down to much more seasonal levels, highs in the upper 40s for Friday through the weekend. But for the next 72 hours, skies vary from partly to mostly cloudy, with lows tonight near 42, highs Tuesday near 60 again, and in the low 60s for Wednesday!
